Having the essential tools to run your blog is very important. As bloggers, we are always looking for the best tools out there to either make our job easier, make our blog look pretty or just great tools overall to have on our sites for our use and our readers.

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read our disclosure policy for more information.

I believe that It is very important to have the right tools to use on our sites like the right email platform, the right plugin for our affiliate links, a good tool to check our spelling, a good plugin that helps us place our ads in the right places and more.

On this post, I’ll be sharing with you some of the tools that I find that have work for me on my site and some that have been highly recommended by other bloggers.

1. Grammarly

The First tool that I want to recommend is Grammarly. Grammarly is a free browser extension for chrome, safari, and firefox, it corrects your grammar and Spelling and improves communication by helping you find and correct mistakes. I use it personally and it has helped me tremendously. My first language is Spanish so sometimes when I write in English I happen to misspell words or place wrong words at the wrong places and Grammarly alerts me right away and gets those fixed for me. I highly recommend using Grammarly for your writing. It’s super easy to use, once you install the extension it works even if you aren’t on your blog. When I’m writing an email or posting on any social media thru my laptop Grammarly does the spelling check for me.

2. Convertkit

Convertkit is a email platform that is already being used by many bloggers. What I love about Convertkit is that It was built by bloggers like us so they understand our needs as bloggers. I switched to Convertkit recently as my email platform and it has worked tremendously good for my site. Convertkit offers features like; Growing your audience, Increased conversions by automated emails also organizes and understand your subscribers. If you subscribe thru this link they even offer a Free trial.

3. Bluehost

Right now if you have a self-hosted site I advise you to get a hosting company like Bluehost When you have a self-hosted site it’s very hard to monetize your site. But when you have Bluehost host for you the possibilities are endless. Blue Host right now is Hosting over 1.5 million domains. Blue Host Features include unlimited disk storage, unlimited domain hosting, free domain name and much more. Right now if you sign up thru my link you get their special price of $3.95 per month for hosting your site, that is less than what you spend on coffee every week so I urge you to sign up and get hosted today.

4. Tailwind

Tailwind is an app that is Pinterest and Instagram friendly. It has helped me gain followers on both social media channels overnight. With Tailwind you can set it up to post for you as many pins and post as you need to, at the times that you need. Pinterest is their number one source for gaining traffic for many bloggers including myself and Tailwind plays a big part of that success. Another thing that I really like about Tailwind is that they have great customer support if I have a question or problem I just send them an email and I get responses back immediately. Also by signing up thru this link, you can get a free trial.

5. Pretty Links

I use the Pretty Links plugin all the time. I used it through out this whole post. For example, if I want to save an affiliate link to use over and over or maybe later I just add it to Pretty Links and like that I don’t have to go back to the sites to find my links because they are already saved on my plugin. Pretty Links gives you the ability to create clean, simple URL’s on your website that redirects to any other URL. It has many features see it for your self by just clicking on this link that I have provided for you.

There are lots of plugins, apps, and platform that I can talk about but those are my top ones for now. I might be adding more later on for your benefit and mine.

If you liked this post don’t forget to share with your friends. Leave a comment in the comment box if you think this was helpful in any kind of way and also if you would like to suggest any other tool that we might benefit from.

I also want to invite you to join my new Facebook group Bloggers and Bloggers where we can share our sites, our social media platforms and useful tips for bloggers.
