I’m very happy to host this very first giveaway on my blog please read along to find out more!

Let’s face it most of us aren’t really very organize with our daily duties. I personally find it very hard to get my daily activities, chores and other responsibilities done and on top of that I was finding it very hard to have time to write down my to-do list on a piece of paper or a planner of any kind. It’s just something that as a stay at home mother I didn’t think was possible to do. Not until I received this so well designed Year Planner for a review.

I always had a planner when I had a job out in the real world like some call it. I was a Chef and it was very important that I kept my timeline in order and daily food prep routines organized in order for my team to be able to execute the food right and on time every time. I use to carry a little planner in my pocket and one on my desk they both helped me remember tasks and stay on top of them, but after quitting my job almost 2 years ago to stay at home with the babies I didn’t really think I need it a physical planner, I was just keeping my reminders on my phone or google calendar like I know that many of us are guilty of because we are all so addicted to technology these days.

When I received The Inspire Year Planner from Kathy Pine from thischerishedlife.com  for the review I fell in love with the beautiful design and the colors, but to be honest I didn’t open it and looked thru it until a couple of days later and thank GOD that I did. Let me tell you, the planner is filled with beautiful pages, fun activities and so many inspirational quotes on every single page that it was really impossible for me not to fall in love with it.

Let me tell you a little bit about who Kathy Pine is the creator and designer of this awesome Planner:

Kathy is a mother of three, artist, and designer who believes in our pursuit of full, adventurous lives shaped by creativity and curiosity and led by our hearts’ passions.

Kathy is a longtime entrepreneur, founding her first company, Amplify Interactive, at age 25, where she has led the design of hundreds of websites and been integral in dozens of startup branding campaigns over the years. She has a passion for making the simply beautiful, using her rare combination of both programming and artistic skills to create a functional design.

Recently, she has taken her passion for purposeful living and design into the creation of a new company, One Love Paper Co., a paper-based goods company that creates tools & inspiration for a life of creativity, passion, and adventure. Her newest business has taken off in the last year with the launch of the Inspired Year Planner, a unique goal-setting calendar which received 120% funding on Kickstarter.

When she’s not busy designing or creating one of her many projects, she loves running, yoga, painting, volunteering at her kids’ school, and going on adventures with her family. She blogs at www.thischerishedlife.com about work-life balance, parenting, cherishing the moment, family travel and creative pursuits.

I had never before used a planner like this one, I usually use to buy the ones that had a pretty cover in front and a regular calendar inside. This planner like I had mentioned before has many fun parts and it’s just cute and super useful and fun to use.

Focus on your Work + Life Balance Activity:

I really like this activity because it helps me balance my life and see the areas where I need to improve, for each section, represented as a petal I get to fill in the area between the center of the flower and the outer edge to represent the amount I feel fulfilled in that area, the center of the flower represents 0% and the outside edge represents 100%. I have fun doing this one.

The planner comes with a wide variety of pages filled with goal settings exercises, monthly milestones,  weekly actions toward goals, the month’s theme, things that matter to you every different week and much more, these are spaces that you have to fill out with your own goals, themes, things that matter, milestones etc so that every time that you open the calendar to the page of the day you might have some new goal to work towards that you wrote yourself. I personally think that those are very good features.

I have 4 girls and a husband that keep me super busy and on top of that I drop off and pick up my niece and nephews from school. My 2 oldest daughters, my niece, and nephew are all in sports with different schedules each. Having this planner now makes it easier for me to remember when each and one of them have practice, games or any type of activity at school. I also write down any doctors appointment, dentist, hair, nails just any appointment whatsoever that any of us might have during the month.

Besides all of those features, the planner its just pleasant to have, open and write on every day, I love the inspirational quotes that are written on each page, these are quotes that I can actually live by and keep me going every day in combination with my morning coffee. One of my favorites is this one:

” At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished…it’s about who you’ve made better, it’s about what you’ve given back”

Denzel Washington

It just feels good to find quotes that go with my everyday life, and with all these natural disasters that are going around us at the moment I really need some inspiration because 2 of the Hurricanes affected me and my family personally, so this planner couldn’t have come in a better moment.

I just added a bullet journal to my pile of journals and it’s the last one I reference. I am not use to referring to a planner at a set time every day so I end up forgetting about it for most of the week. Do you have a blog about how to remember to incorporate your planner into your schedule? This planner looks beautiful.

This looks like an amazing planner and is unlike any other that I have seen. This is something that I actually need in my life. I have been feeling down and need to improve many areas of my life. The best way I get things done is to make a to do list. It tends to help me to see it on paper and gives me a goal to get it done and mark it out. I love the inspirational quotes, I do read them and take them to heart. I specially love The petal that you get to fill out, it seems like if I see it on paper it will make it more real and want me to fulfill my goals. Actually I have been not making goals and just existing… I think this particular planner would help me to get motivated, make goals, take accountability and it’s also cute!

This is great! I really need to get a planner for JUST blogging!

Hi! I loved this review… I loved how much of your own experience you included and showed how it fits into many lifestyles! My life is practically run by my diary and I think I would be running around like a headless chicken. Although saying that my blogging remains strictly in a different notebook to try and differentiate between working and busy life and my enjoyment and hobby. This planner looks like great fun and a great help!

  6. Kellee Anderson | 28th Sep 17

I’ve been using a spiral notebook to try to keep track of goals and activities, it definitely leaves me uninspired. I love the daily quotes to keep a person motivated.

I would super duper love this! I love not just the calendar aspect, but also that you have a place to jot long and short term goals – something I have been wanting to do!

Oh cool – I am an organizationalist and I looooove beautiful stationary products! I started so many journals and I wish I had enough time to keep them all updated as much as I want to. But the Inspired Year Planner looks so amazing – it might be still worth to consider it 😀

  9. umiko buhl | 28th Sep 17

Hmm… It looks interesting, but I’m not sure if someone unorganized like me will get organized with it. Good review though.

  10. Stacey | 28th Sep 17

This looks like a great planner! It’s a good idea to make goals, and this looks like it makes it easy to keep track of those. It looks really nice, too!

This looks like a beautiful and inspirational planner. In addition to keeping track of my daily schedule, I could see this as offering inspiration that we can all use from time to time.

  12. Tara | 30th Sep 17

I love planners! I’ve only recently started using one this year. Too much to keep up with now! This planner is beautiful!

Ahh this is such a great planner, I am one of those people that does minimull planning, I kind of just see where things take me and go from there – However saying that since I started my blog 4 months ago I found myself just swiiming around without direction and started my own planner, giving myself goals to hit by the end of the week, end of the month and structuring my blog and where and how I post so it gave me direction. This planner also would good for my travel goals too 😀

  14. Jamie | 4th Oct 17

This journal would help me keep all my daily duties in order from homeschooling four littles, to managing our family finances, to our social calendar, and finally managing a relatively successful blog. Looks like a great calendar ❤️❤️❤️

This is helpful and doable information. Thanks!

This looks like such an incredible planner. I’m in desperate need of something to get my life and goals organized and I’ve always been a pen to paper kind of girl.
